Reading Project is a changing display and set of activities alongside each exhibition based in the Project Space. For each edition of the Project, an artist or designer is commissioned to respond to the exhibition in a thought-provoking way, with visitors invited to drop in and stamp their mark on the gallery.
Gallery events include workshops, talks, performances and screenings primarily aimed at young people and adults that provide alternative ways to interpret our exhibitions.
Sunday Socials, our free hands-on family friendly workshop programme suitable for all ages, run on specific Sundays during our exhibitions from 12 - 4pm. Each session takes a theme from the exhibition and finds a fun and creative way to explore it.
OutHouse refers to the programme of off-site activities and workshops Pump House Gallery delivers across the borough. Working with artists and local communities, projects aim to find ways to explore, capture and animate the local surroundings.
Schools Programme runs alongside each exhibition and offers guided tours, workshops, materials and activity packs to assist creative learning.
